The baby clinics are for weighing and will allow you an opportunity to discuss other problems eg sleeping, feeding and child health worries with a health visitor.

Baby Immunisations - Wednesday Mornings 09:30 - 11:00

These are by appointment only with a practice nurse.

Family Planning -

Contraceptive care and advice is provided by all the doctors and some nurses during surgery hours. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment.

Non-NHS Examiniations -

The doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside surgery hours. Please telephone the surgery to make such an appointment. Ask at reception for the charges for these services.

In-house Alcohol Worker -

A counsellor is available. Please ask at reception for an appointment.

Travel Immunisations / Travel Advise -

Travel advice and vaccinations are available at the surgery. These consultations are held with our experienced practice nurses and are by appointment only. Please allow at least four to six weeks in advance of your holiday to ensure adequate cover. (A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS. A list of these charges is held at reception). We no longer give Yellow Fever vaccination.

Flu Vaccination -

An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and rest homes. We also advise anyone aged 65 plus to take the oppotunity to get vaccinated with this and the pneumonia vaccine.
Please contact the reception staff in October for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend the surgery, a home visit will be arranged to undertake this facility.
